Mary Reardon, Widows of Prayer Foundress, has gone to Jesus. She passed away surrounded by her loving family Friday 1/25/19.

She will be missed by all who knew her.

The Widows of Prayer are a religious apostolate of the Catholic Church, meeting, praying and working together for mutual support and common prayer for the Catholic Church and its leaders.

If you are a widow, we invite you to get to know us. We understand what it’s like to lose a spouse.

We welcome you to our gatherings to learn more about us.

There was a certain prophetess, Anna by name, daughter of Phanuel of the tribe of Asher. She had seen many days, having lived seven years with her husband after her marriage and then as a widow until she was eighty-four. She was constantly in the temple, worshipping day and night in fasting and prayer.

The real widow, left alone, is the one who has set her hope in God, and continues night and day in supplications and prayers.
